We have finaaly joined the 2000's and gotten outselves DSL. God I love this....it...so....FAST!
I (sniff)so happy I could (sniff)cry. After waiting around for my dad to hook it up I just got pissed and finally did it myself 3 WEEKS after we first got the stuff. Work's been a bitch but after next week I will have a break so maybe I can write a new chapter or catch up on my sleep or something. (like that will happen when I have fast internet) Oh well gotta go to sleep so I can wake up at 6 am. Ta ta for now!

Just wanted to change my journal.

As anyone who read my last journal knows, I am experiencing trouble with my computer. Well, in an attempt to update I was downloading the servive pack 2 (again) after doing some other recomended actions that the people at microsoft believed may fix the problem when my modem died. I don't know what happened, and frankly I don't give a shit. I was pissed because I went to buy myself a new modem, as I had when the last two got fried by lightening, and my computer will NOT recognize a new modem. I had used the same brand of modem more than once before and never had a problem. So I went out and bought a laptop. Soon I shall have Itunes 8.something and be able to use my Ipod.
Btw I am not the only one in my family having a bad week. My cousins boyfriend's truck broke down on him, my uncle got fired after working at the same place for over 20 years and my aunt is needing to have surgery to fix her neck. All in all it has been a shitty week for many.

I hate technology. I got an Ipod nano for Christmas. I love it. It's wonderful. I just wish I could use it. I had to update my Itunes in order to use it but when I tried, I had to update my Windows to install it. Ok Fine, I thought, I'll download the updates. Oh no nothing would ever be that easy for me. Error code: try again or here is a useless list that can rid you of every problem you could possibly have BUT the one error code that I get. Ha ha in your face for waiting till 3 in the damn morning to get Itunes 8.something to finish downloading. So until I can get my computer to update, my brand new $150 Ipod nano is nothing but a pretty little lime green paperwieght. Oh the joys of Windows.
